Now Do You Believe Left-wing Hate is Real?

June 15, 2017 by tornado Leave a Comment

Yesterday’s shooting at a Congressional baseball practice, aimed specifically at Republicans, finally should bring to the forefront the real phenomenon of left-wing hatred and violence. Not only that, but so should certain reactions to it.

Scan the social-media feeds of your left-wing friends yesterday and you’ll find this sort of expression commonly.

Do you see the psychological tactic at work there? Do not fall for it. I won’t. The reason is that you won’t see it from the very same people’s feeds after the Dylan Roof or Gabby Giffords incidents. The reason is that they want to use emotionally manipulative statements such as the above, only after evil acts by fellow left-wingers, in order to stifle balanced discussion and keep it imbalanced — toward the left’s portrayal of its own victimhood, of course.

In reality, the left is intensely hypocritical when it accuses conservatives of all manner of ugly complicity in bad deeds committed by the “right wing”. Then when fellow leftists riot (Ferguson, Baltimore or Portland anyone?), attack others at political rallies (San Jose anyone?) run GOP politicians of the road (Wendi Wright in Tennessee), and commit other horrible crimes (e.g., yesterday in suburban Virginia, firebombing of the North Carolina GOP office, shooting at Family Research Council by a “gay rights” supporter), the same faction turns around and tries to shush discussion of such acts in the name of “unity” and preventing “division”. Stop it. I’m not going to let you get away with having your cake and eating it too. I have been around, and can see through those mind games like a pane of glass.

The above sort of faux-conciliatory pandering is not a coincidence. With some welcomed and unusual exceptions, the left wing does not want you to know, nor discuss, evil committed by its own. So tonight, I’ll help to take up that role of being informative of what you need to see about how the world works.

If you have sensitive eyes and don’t like seeing people express profane and ugly things toward others, please stop now and put your head firmly back in the sand. Maybe dream of fuzzy bunnies and unicorns crapping Skittles.

Now the rest of us proceed with reality, and boys and girls: the reality that evil exists — including plenty arising from the sociopolitical left, and I am about to prove this. There is no need to show right-wing examples because they are are so quickly and loudly brought to bear in mass media; instead, this is a skeletal and meager attempt to balance it out with a ridiculously tiny sampling from the other side. Then don’t forget to read my disclaimers and closing statements at the bottom.

===============

Unfortunately, scanning the feeds yesterday reveals more examples than I could count of explicit hate and even condoning of violence toward the right. Here is but one example — a thinly disguised, passive-aggressive call from a Huffington Post writer for the left to murder conservatives:

————–

That, from the same violence advocate and hatemonger who penned the following, a screen-capture of something to which I will not link directly.

————–

————–

When a reasonable left-winger (yes, I am acknowledging they exist!) tries to correct his evil-spewing comrades, this is a remarkably honest (if still hateful) response. At least we know exactly where he stands; it’s the dishonest ones and fakers you really have to watch.

————–

Such advocacy of violence surely does not adhere to Martin Luther King Jr.’s relatively recent teachings regarding nonviolence, not to principles espoused before that by Jesus and M. Gandhi. More, from 2016:

————–

This isn’t a hate tweet, but documents plenty of it from the left. [Understand that anti-conservative venom and violence and censorship at universities is not limited to Berkeley either.]

————–

Consider a few out of hundreds or more hate tweets directed at Antonin Scalia after his death:

————–

Not only is this left-wing expression hateful personally, but blatantly racist:

————–

Speaking of hate directed at racial-minority conservatives, look what happened to Mia Love’s Wikipedia page several years ago…so much for “tolerance” and “inclusion”:

————–

Former First Lady Nancy Reagan’s death even brought forth the liberal hate — much of it from people who weren’t even old enough to remember her directly. How did their minds get filled with this awful poison? Who educated them that such hate was okay?

————–

Twitchy documented many hate tweets and death threats against the 2012 Republican presidential candidate, some of which still haven’t been removed by Twitter.

————–

Remember a year ago when a boy fell into a gorilla enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo? Left-wing animal worshipers couldn’t wait to spew the venom.

===============

These are far from “isolated” or “unrepresentative” incidents either. Do you want more, from these and innumerable other news events? I could have posted countless many; you can find them if you try, and it is not difficult. One easily could look back through public-facing social-media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.), and find thousands — thousands! — out of far, far more, of such despicable left-wing hate speech and threats.

DISCLAIMER 1: Again, this is not to deny similar vitriol exists elsewhere on the ideological spectrum, nor to “score points”, so don’t falsely portray this as such. Regardless, right-wing hate will be publicized readily, whereas left-wing hate is less-advertised unless an incident as seemingly shocking as yesterday’s forces it to the front page. Therefore I simply show you examples, in the name of bringing balance to the discussion that needs to be had. Leftist evil is real. If you still don’t believe in leftist evil, ask the relatives of the tens of millions of victims of Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot. Leftist ideologies led to the deaths of more people in the 20th century than any others (more even than the comparably evil-minded ideals of Fascism or extreme Islam!), and it’s not even close. It’s not over either; consider the wreckage of Venezuela and the human-rights horrors in North Korea and Cuba.

DISCLAIMER 2: For the record, I am not contributing to division. No, the division is already there. I am simply bearing witness to it, showing it to you — the same as if a huge crocodile were stalking you at the riverside and I made you turn around to see it. That is not the same as causing the crocodile, and this isn’t the same as “contributing to the problem”. What you do with this newfound knowledge is your responsibility and yours alone — not mine. I categorically reject any form of blame for others’ chosen behavior, so don’t waste your time trying. Instead, face the reality above, accept that it is real, then set about doing something about it. Or that crocodile of evil thought will eat more and more of us…

MOTIVATION: In order to bring light into darkness, you need to know that the darkness exists, and have some idea of how dark it is. If you have a conscience, yet only saw evil on the right and not on the left, you are enlightened now regarding the left’s capacity for evil. If you do not have such a conscience, then all I can say is: reasoning with psychopathy is beyond my pay grade. Seek help, for the sake of us all.

Yes, I love my neighbor. Sometimes that means tough love. So, digital neighbor, that is what I have given you here: a small peek into the reality of brokenness and sin as it stands today, and as such, a dose of tough love.

Is all hopeless? Not at all! Please be assured by this: the only eternal and unyielding Light, the only one who can totally and permanently overcome hate from all sides, is our Lord and Savior, Jesus. He can and will protect and forge you in the face of evil, give you the strength and courage to acknowledge it and stare it down, and back you up in the struggle against it, every step of the way. Start from there, proceed, and you will be on the right track. Or try to ignore or go it alone in futility. That is your God-given, free-will choice.

Election 2016 Part 4: Left-wing Anguish, Hate and Violence

November 27, 2016 by tornado Leave a Comment

In the previous installment of the Election 2016 series, I discussed hazards to conservatives and conservatism from the ascendancy of Trump to highest office. Now let’s look at what’s happening on the left. To summarize, quite a lot of people need to be taught, as they should have been by parents, how to behave when things don’t go their way.

THE ANGUISHED LEFT

Liberals immediately began weeping and gnashing teeth over how such a horror can take place. Naturally, being driven by emotion and feelings more than rationality and reason, many leftists dove straight into over-the-top, “I can’t cope!” type melodrama on social media, and posts to the effect of, “Now is not the time for kindness and reconciliation, not yet.” Not the time for kindness? Wow. I feel so sorry for those consumed by such bitterness.

Then there were the soft, pampered, coddled, overly tender little snowflakes at colleges around the country whose precious little naive worldviews have no conceptions for real-world harshness and developments that don’t go their way. Emotion, not rationality, reason and logic, drive every fiber of thought. This is another existence (and it’s not life, but existence) for which I have profound pity. It only creates more self-made victims. How exquisitely ironic and fitting that so many have adopted diaper pins as their collective pity-party symbol. And now we even have a gaggle of left-wingers ironically jumping on the bandwagon of a new Red Scare — which looks, sounds and smells exactly like the pattern of conspiracy theory-mongering they accuse the right of doing.

Many on the left cannot comprehend that their party (political party as opposed to pity party, though there is currently little difference) put forth a deeply, deeply flawed candidate infested with corrupted ethics and rotten to the core. Instead they launch bogeyman conspiracy theories and desperate stabs in the dark to blame the FBI director, who spinelessly failed to recommend prosecution for stuff that would have landed a mere proletariat like me in jail by now, the third-party candidates (bullshit…they took from Trump as well!), “racist and xenophobic” bogeymen under every bed, and all manner of other lame excuses for the sorry, sad-sack performance of their own candidate and repudiation of their ideals in the most critical parts of the electoral marketplace.

THE HATEFUL AND SOMETIMES VIOLENT LEFT [Or: Yes, I was in Portland!]

Even before the election, various incidents of violence against Trump supporters (another example, among many) and destruction of property sneaked through the media; who knows what happened that was not widely publicized.

Fortuitously, I was in downtown Portland on unrelated business on election night, and on the next, spent a time out there observing the “civil disobedience”–deliberately embedded for an hour or more within the protestors, who had no idea I was an unsympathetic infiltrator. Here’s what I posted to Facebook friends from the streets, just upwind of tear gas and listening to both the flash/bang grenades and megaphone demands from a wave of law enforcement:

    I wandered through some of it. Tons of cops and choppers everywhere. Tear gas and flash-bang devices on occasion but nothing unmanageable. Stoner “riots” are entertaining and not very dangerous. These hipsters have trouble bench-pressing a phone book, much less hurting anybody.
    …
    Yes, it appears some of these morons did break stuff. Cops mostly were dispersing and not arresting people.

    Understanding urban meteorology/airflow does help one to stay upwind of the tear gas.
    …
    There definitely was an element that had cell phones ready and waiting [for cops to make a mistake]– as if a form of wishful entrapment.
    …
    [Earlier, on the opposite side of the river:] I was shooting calm-looking water reflectives while standing under the bridge, right alongside a group of ~100 people singing, chanting and beating drums around a makeshift bonfire. Cops came and dispersed them right after I was done. At least they weren’t breaking stuff like those anarchist idiots downtown!

However, on the two following nights after I left, the protests did get physically violent in a few locales of Portland, and I would attribute that more to out-of-town and out-of-state professional paid agitators that we’ve seen in other civil disturbances in places like North Dakota, Ferguson and Baltimore. After the surprise election results, it took some time to get the hired hooligans into town.

My end report: Most of it was civil, but not all. The cops did an amazing job considering a small percentage of the crowd consisted of anarchist thugs breaking stuff, setting fires and hurling objects. Far larger numbers were spewing hate speech directed at at Trump and his supporters. How ironic it was to see people yelling “Love trumps hate,” while carrying “F*** Trump!” signs. Even worse scenes unfolded in other cities such as Oakland, where police endured barrages of bottles, rocks, and Molotov cocktails.

I did not realize that “Love trumps hate” involves destruction and violence.

Want more evidence of hypocrisy? Over half the arrested protestors in Portland didn’t vote in Oregon! If you don’t vote, you have no credibility at all in protesting the results. Go home and play on your PlayStation whilst choking down those kale smoothies.

As a third-party voter and an eyewitness to what happened one night in Portland, I can assure you BOTH sides have a lot of hate and intolerance to weed out of their ranks, not just the so-called “alt-right” as claimed by so-called “progressives”. The vitriol spewing from the left only reinforces, in Trump supporters’ eyes, their decision to vote for him. Is that your goal?

WISE ADVICE

Those who protested the election results really need to heed the words of the President for whom they voted last time, applied to themselves. As a reminder:

    “You don’t like a particular policy or a particular president? Then argue for your position. Go out there and win an election. Push to change it. But don’t break it. Don’t break what our predecessors spent over two centuries building. That’s not being faithful to what this country’s about. Go out there and win an election.”
    — Barack Obama, 2012

Remember? Or is what’s good for one shoe not applicable to the other?

And oh by the way–stop breaking stuff and trying to hurt people. That also hurts credibility. Ever hear of Martin Luther King and his rightful advocacy of non-violent protest? We also have seen false-flag “hate” incidents (for example) committed by the left, and even before this election cycle. Those who commit false-flag crimes for propaganda truly are a “basket of deplorables”.

Assassination wishes against the President-elect also exploded across Twitter and other social-media commentary spaces. Death threats are evil, criminal, dignify no further exposure, and will not be legitimized by re-posting here. You easily can find more than enough if you try, because regardless of any lip service to the contrary, results (which are what matters) show Twitter corporately cares nothing about being a willing vector for the threat to commit a Federal capital crime. These illustrate the extreme yet still present element of the Left that need to be policed by the party that preaches peace and tolerance.

In the next chapter of this set of BLOG entries, I’ll turn to the more thoughtful, rational element of the left wing and offer credit where it is due.

Election 2016 Part 3: Conservatism and Conservatives in Danger

November 24, 2016 by tornado Leave a Comment

Part 2 of this series covered the Electoral College and how important it is. Now we switch to the fallout for conservatives.

On several fronts, conservatism is in great danger from a Trump administration. Yes, you read right. First of all, this is an urgent and important message to fellow conservatives, especially those Christians who (unlike me) held their noses and voted for Trump despite his own egregious personal immorality and lack of bonafide conservative credentials.

Watch your back. Trump can turn on us! He could do this by wavering and waffling on issues, as he has done in the past, and changing back to (for example) being pro-abortion. He has favored and unfavored the slaughter of the unborn, and not having much of a moral underpinning, can flip back to the dark side at any given millisecond. He has championed the “rights” of sexual deviants. He has mocked the disabled and poor, who we are taught by the Lord to love and assist. He has made sexist and demeaning “locker room” comments at ladies — grotesque and crass utterances that I shall neither repeat nor link here, and that are decidedly unhelpful and unbecoming the dignity of the office he is about to hold. We cannot trust Trump to support us and to further conservatism when he has been so outwardly hostile to conservative causes (and personally vile toward conservative Christian people, such as Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio) in the recent past.

Furthermore, cafeteria Christians wielding a rhetorically convenient mixture of true and false theologies (such as the so-called “Christian left”) will leverage this situation, and Trump’s violations of mores we all hold dear, in their heretical attempts to redefine Biblical truths to fit their Bolshevik agendas. “Love trumps hate” is a fine example, catering to the thoroughly ridiculous, ignorant and untrue notion that we “hate” those whose immoral sexual behavior or desire to strip us of our right to armed self-defense we simply and rightfully disapprove of. We know that disapproval is not the same as “hate” or “racism” or “bigotry” or “sexism”. But that means nothing to zealous foamers on the secular and “Christian” (yes, I put that in quotes, quite deliberately) left who seek every opportunity to divide and conquer, straight out of Satan’s playbook.

Trump may (likely will!) betray us through his own governmental naivete and ignorance-derived gullibilities, falling prey to advisers who convince him that, for security’s sake, NSA and CIA need to further ratchet up domestic spying on Americans, even beyond the horrifying levels that Obama did, which itself was a big uptick from Bush 43’s own violations of the Fourth Amendment.

The Republican Party, much of which has abandoned conservatism, has no room to gloat. It allowed this Trump takeover to happen through its own smug, ivory-tower, pseudo-intellectual, Goldman Sachs-sellout, globalist, “We know what’s best for you” arrogance that, at times, matched that of the left wing. The elevation of Trump as standard-bearer is an excessive and extreme backlash to the Dole-Bush-Romney axis of distant, detached elitism. Rightly or not, as a result, Republicans of all stripes will be tarred and feathered by the left as the Party of Trump, a curse it will carry for ever and ever. Be ready. While some temporary satisfaction may exist at the electoral triumph, like a hit of heroin, long-term damage is virtually certain and sure.

Fortunately the Democrat Party has been damaged heavily too, by their abject failure to muster a candidate competent, moderate, and ethically clean enough to defeat someone as loathsome as Trump. Republicans and Democrats alike: a pox on both your houses! We need either more robust alternative parties to better represent the spectrum of voter ideals than the horridly outdated and over-simplistic dichotomy presented to them today, or as I have advocated, an absolute end to political parties and a fresh start to voting strictly on candidates and issues.

Unfortunately, respect for morals and ethics has been damaged by both parties in this campaign, as I’ve enumerated ad nauseam in BLOG posts here already. Now that one of those parties has won the electoral vote, the lesson here to our children is, among others, that one can become President despite having egregious, deep and profound character flaws as manifest in:
* Extramarital affairs (and he’s not the first, I know);
* Promotion and operation of massive gambling operations;
* Support (whether currently or not, the record is there) for genocide of the unborn;
* Crass, crude, misogynistic public insults of women, whom God has decreed are to be loved, cherished and protected, not abused;
* Insulting name-calling directed at all manner of people opposing him;
* Stiffing creditors and contractors (theft, forbidden outright by one of our Commandments);
* Flaunting of wealth (ever heard of the allegory of the camel and the eye of the needle?)
* Abject ignorance of issues, which is abdication of moral and professional responsibility to be the most excellent possible at one’s work.

Will character and personal integrity ever matter again in the highest office of our nation and the most influential in the free world? If not, as it appears by the choices presented to us in this election, it is ridiculously easy to see how we are, as a “civilization”, hurtling at frightening velocity straight toward Biblical prophesies of the end times. And we as a nation and a civilization will deserve exactly what is coming to us, even as individuals who had nothing to do with putting such a depraved charlatan (either one, but we’ll refer to Trump as such, since he won) in office will suffer because of this.

You know what, though? So will we conservatives, because we all will be labeled as having “put him in office”–even though many of us did not vote for him precisely because of his unrepentant and open sinfulness. This is going to be a well-coordinated attack on all of our values held dear, whether in the next national election in four years, or in any impeachment proceedings he brings upon himself by his own nefariousness and corruption in the interim; so be prepared.

We conservatives also are at risk from a numerically small but disproportionately painful bur of stupidity within. Isolated but fanatically publicized incidents have occurred of election-related bullying, violence, and racism by Trump supporters, whether or not they claim to be conservatives, will tarnish us all with an unfair brush, and will continue to be propagandized by left-wing zealots hell-bent on discrediting all who do not think exactly like them on hot-button social issues that the left uses as a divide-and-conquer tactic. To the idiots on the right who are breaking stuff and being mean to individuals, I say, go home and dig boogers out of your noses, or some other endeavor more fitting of your ignorance. You are not welcome in the world of thinking conservatism.

Just as awful are false-flag hate crimes by left-wingers, which have taken place as well. More “hate crimes” under false pretense are likely to occur, because they succeed at fomenting left-wing rage. Emotional reactionaries on the left jump on these as rallying cries, without first taking due time to verify the nature and motivations of the criminals, then say, “See, Trump supporters need to speak out against these evils!” Fine. Many of them are. Now leftists also need to call out and police the false-flag crimes and hate originated in their own realm. I hold out little hope they will, because the false-flag leftists still are convenient to the cause for the ten seconds that most people pay attention. Rage sells — even if the rage is generated through duplicitous behavior.

The danger to conservatives here is tangible and physical, in terms of criminal retaliation for either real, or perceived or even falsely attributed, bad behavior by a very few.

This segues to the next installment of this series, where I’ll address the overly melodramatic, emotional, and sometimes violent reactions of the left wing to this election.
