Almost everything was blue: sky, glass of the foreground building, the tower and the hour. Twilight imposed its normal tonal ambience on a scene where Reunion Tower’s LED light array (recently replacing the bulbs used since its 1979 completion) twinkled blue in honor of the hometown Mavericks, with some reflection off upper corners of the hotel. About 16 hours later, the second of three twilights in one day swooped overhead, seen from the opposite side of the hotel and tower, making a scene unique to all of history.
